Theme: Fruit of the Spirit Grades: Kindergarten - 5th The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Our parish VBS will be held on June 7th - June 11th from 9:00 AM - Noon. At Vacation Bible School this year we are gathering all the delicious Fruits of the Spirit! These teach us how to live a truly Christian life. We will have 4 classes: story, craft, games, music and snack (together). There is no charge for VBS but we will accept donations at registration on the first day. We will begin and end each day in the church hall. You may walk your child in or pull up and we will be sure they get to the hall safely. On Friday at 11:30 we have community time where we would love parents to join and see some of what we learned! Any middle school or high school student interested in helping may get in touch with Jessica Findley at 337-853-7358. Mark your calendars for the St. Joseph Family Fun Day! It will be held Saturday, June 12th after the 4:00 Mass. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs, water slide, and foam party. We will also have BINGO and a cake walk. Everyone is welcome to bring their washer board or other outdoor games and lawn chairs. Please bring a cake or dessert for the cake walk. Theme: Under the Stars Place: KC Hall in Vinton Dress: Sunday Best - Semi Formal (no jeans or ball caps) Admission: $25 per couple - $5 each additional daughter, 4th is free.
